Directions: From Glenwood, head West on US Hwy 70 for approx 4.1 miles. Turn Left/North onto Bumble Bee Rd. and follow it for approx. 1.2 miles, turning Right onto Mr. Egg Road. Go 0.4 miles and take the first Left onto Pump Station Rd. Follow this road for 0.5 miles, then Turn Left onto CR#27/Rifle Range Rd. Follow this road 0.7 miles (staying right at 0.3) to the parking area on your Left.

About Pigeon Roost

The Ouachita National Forest offers visitors 11 shooting ranges scattered throughout the Ouachita Mountains in Arkansas and in Oklahoma, and each offers a scenic backdrop. The ranges are free and open to the public, typically each day from sunup to sundown. Most ranges offers 25-, 50- and 100-yard targets, with an average of five to six shooting benches as well. Some ranges even include covered benches and trap throwers.
