- This one mile paved trail takes visitors thru one of the heaviest fought areas of the battlefield. Fourteen signs placed along the way interpret the battle as you travel the path. Photos and quotes of participants in the battle are on the signs.

Battlefield Driving Tour

- This self-guided driving tour takes visitors around the park, stopping at fourteen key locations along the way. The points of interest give an overview of the entire battlefield and surrounding area. Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park protects over 750 acres of the nearly 3,200 acre battleground. Because of this, some stops along the tour are located on or along privately owned land, as well as public streets and highways. Please respect private property and obey all necessary traffic laws. Extra care should be taken along Hwy 62 and the streets of Prairie Grove.
