About Brushy Lake
If you are looking for quiet and seclusion, then look no further than Brushy Lake Park. Located in the Cookson Hills of Eastern Oklahoma, Brushy Lake sits in such a beautiful location. The park features RV and tent camping areas, a playground, pavilions and picnic areas, a lighted boat ramp and a fishing dock. Electric and water service are available for the RV campers, and comfort stations with restrooms and showers are available for all campers. The seclusion of the park also offers plenty of wildlife viewing as well.
The park's relatively close proximity to I-40, as well as area outdoor attractions, such as Lake Tenkiller, the Cookson Hills State Game Refuge, and the reserviors of the Arkansas River, make it a popular getaway, but at the same time, its small size keeps too many visitors from overcrowding the park.
This park was formerly Brushy Lake State Park
