Directions: Redding campground is located about 14 miles North of Ozark on AR Hwy 23, then approx. 2.8 miles East on AR Hwy 215, on the banks of the Mulberry River.
About Redding
Redding campground is a popular camping/access point along the Mulberry Wild & Scenic River, one the most popular and beautiful float streams in the Ozarks, especially in the spring. The campground also serves as a trailhead for the popular Redding-Spy Rock loop trail, as well as an access to the Ozark Highlands Trail.
The campground offers 27 sites, and is open to camping trailers, but no hookups or amenities are provided. In season, flush toilets, showers, and drinking water are also provided.
Redding campground also serves as the trailhead for the popular Redding-spy Rock Loop Trail, which also provides an access to the Ozark Highlands Trail. Beginning in the campground, the trail crosses Hwy 215, and creates an 8.8 mile loop to the north, with short spurs connecting to the Ozark Highlands Trail and the Spy Rock scenic viewpoint.
