Canoeing & Kayaking
Visitors can rent solo or tandem kayaks for self-exploration of Lake Dardanelle, or can take part in a guided kayak tour with park staff. Party barge guided tours are also available.
Swimming
A swimming beach is located along the shore of the lake at the Russelville Area of the park. The swimming beach restroom is open from April - August. No lifeguard is on duty, please swim at your own risk.
Fishing
Lake Dardanelle is a popular fishing lake for area anglers, and is the weigh-in station and headquarters for several fishing tournaments throughout the year. The state park offers the state's only weigh-in pavillion. The new pavillion consists of six live wells, a meeting room, weigh-in scales w/electronic screens, and an announcer's platform.
