Directions: Russelville Area: From I-40, take exit# 81 (Hwy 7) at Russellville. Turn south, then immediately turn west on Ark Hwy 326, and go five miles.
Dardanelle Area: Four miles west of Dardanelle on Ark Hwy 22.
About Lake Dardanelle
Located on the Arkansas River, Lake Dardanelle is a 34,300-acre reservoir that is a popular tournament bass fishing spot. Where these two water sources meet, sits Lake Dardanelle State Park. The park offers two locations along the lake; the Russeville location, which is the main park, and the Dardanelle location. Each location offers camping, boat launch ramps, pavillions, picnic sites, and bathhouses.
Also located at the Russelville area is a fishing pier, hiking trail, fishing tournament weigh-in pavilion, kayak and bicycle rentals, and a visitor center, which offers great views of the lake. The visitor center houses exhibits and touch screen computers with information about the park, it's history, and the area's water sources.
Visitors can enjoy guided kayak tours, as well as party barge tours, led by park staff. There are also privately owned marinas and boat docks located in both park areas.
