Black River Trail

    Description
  • Take a stroll back in time along the banks of the Black River, and visit the historic Phillips/Reeves Cemetery. Starting in the historic townsite, this trail runs along the high bank of the river and into the surrounding woodland. It passes the historic cemetery and heads to the dam on the south side of Trapper Lake.

Historic Townsite Trail

Scott Cemetery Trail

    Description
  • This trail is named after the Scott family, who owned and operated a ferry that crossed the Black river untill 1927. The cemetery probably dates back to the time of Davidsonville. There are many headstones that bear unusual engravings and inscriptions. Other features include an abundance of wildflowers, blooming dogwoods, and towering oaks.
