Camper Cabins
Lake Wappapello State Park offers eight modern, or housekeeping, cabins, and four rustic, or camper, cabins. Of the eight housekeeping cabins, seven are two bedroom units, and #8 is a three bedroom unit. Amenities for these cabins includes: kitchen with sink, refrigerator, and electric stove with oven, pots & pans, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave, television w/DVD player, heating & air-conditioning, bed and bath linens, picnic table, and outdoor fire grill. The two bedroom cabins can sleep up to six people, and feature one bathroom. The three bedroom cabin can sleep up to 10 people, and features one and a half baths.
The four camper cabins are located right on the lake, and are open year-round. Each cabin can sleep two adults and two children. Sleeping accommodations include a queen sized bed, a full sized futon, and a loft for sleeping bags. The cabins feature electricity, heat and air, but do not have running water or restrooms. Each cabin also has a dining table, mini-fridge, microwave, picnic table, and outdoor fire grill. A modern central restroom and showerhouse is located nearby, and is available during the on season, typically Apr. 1st thru Oct. 31st. Each unit also includes its own designated parking spaces.

Campground
Lake Wappapello State Park offers 74 campsites between two capmgrounds, Asher Creek Campground and Ridge Campground. As you can guess, Ridge campground is located up on a ridge, overlooking Lake Wappapello, while the Asher Creek campground is located in the valley where Asher Creek flows in to the lake, and is right next to the water. The camper cabins are also located in the Ridge campground. On-season serives include a dump station, restrooms, showers and laundry.
