About Table Rock

If you're planning to visit Branson, but still want to be outdoors and near the lake, Table Rock State Park would be a perfect base camp from which to explore the area. Located along Table Rock Lake, the park offers easy access to the lake, and is only minutes from the main strip and attractions that Branson has to offer.

With the construction of Table Rock Dam in the late 1950's on the White River, Table Rock Lake was formed with 43,100 surface acres, and over 800 miles of shoreline. Table Rock State Park sits along the northeast shore of the lake, just south of the dam. The two shaded campgrounds are spread out along the lake shore, providing easy access and great views of the lake. Although there is no designated swimming beach, visitors can access the lake and swim at many places in the park.

Known as a premier bass fishing destination in the midwest, Table Rock Lake is a fisherman's dream. Smallmouth, largemouth, spotted, kentucky and white bass can all be caught here. Table Rock offers some of the best deep water bass fishing in the country. Other notable fish to catch are crappie, catfish, bluegill, sunfish and spoonbill.

The park's marina offers days of adventure and entertainment. You can rent a ski boat or jet ski, paddleboat, fishing boat, pontoon, or luxury tritoon. The marina also has a 48-foot sailing catamaran for daily excursion or private charters. There are even parasailing opportunities at the marina as well. Also, don't forget to check out the dive shop, or grab a bite to eat at the BBQ cafe.

Between the two campgrounds, there are 152 campsites, including basic, semi-modern, and full-hookup modern sites. The campgrounds also have moderns restrooms, showers and laundry facilities. A dump station is also available.

Other park features include picnic sites, a reservable picnic shelter, a sand volleyball court and playgrounds. Nearby, the vacation mecca of Branson offers many other attractions, including music shows, shopping, theme parks, craft malls, numerous golf courses, and world class trout fishing.
