Swimming
Lake Wister State Park offers two ares to keep cool during the summer months. One is the swimming beach area, offering access to the cool clear waters of Lake Wister. The other is the swimming pool and water spray park, perfect for both kids and adults. While the kids play in the water, you can relax by the pool in an armchair, or take a dip with the kids to keep cool.
Fishing
Lake Wister offers some of Oklahoma's best crappie fishing, but also offers fishing for sunfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, spotted bass, white bass and channel catfish. Lake Wister offers over 7,000 surface acres and 115 miles of shoreline.
