About Sequoyah Bay
On the shores of Fort Gibson Lake in northeastern Oklahoma, on the edge of the Ozarks, sits Sequoyah Bay State Park, a paradise for campers and water sport enthusiasts. The lake offers over 19,000 surface acres and 225 miles of shoreline, plenty of room for water skiing, tubing, boating, sailing or fishing.
Sequoyah Bay offers camping spread out over five areas, inlcuding a group RV camping area, plus numerous tent sites. Camping amenities include electric and water hookups, two dump stations, comfort stations with restrooms and showers, and firewood.
Five cabins are also available for rent in the park. Each cabin represents one of the five civilized tribes: Seminole, Creek, Choctaw, Chickasaw and Cherokee. Cabins include one bedroom, a small kitchen, and a full bathroom with shower.
Other park facilities and amenities include a park office, picnic tables & grills, playgrounds, pavilions, softball field, basketball court and a swimming beach.
At the Sequoyah Bay Marina, you will find rentals, service, gas, ice, boat slips, tackle and a cafe.
