About Pleasant Hill Shooting Range
The Pleasant Hill Shooting Range is located on the southern edge of the Boston Mountains and the Ozarks, just north of the Arkansas River Valley and the town of Clarksville.
This shooting range was built in the 1990s with a partnership between the USDA Forest Service and the Pleasant Hill Shooting Association.
There are two ranges available, a 100-yard rifle range, and a 50-yard pistol range. Each range offers six uncovered shooting benches. Visitors need to bring their own targets and some way of attaching the targets, such as paper clips or clothespins. Proper eye and ear protection are highly recommended as well.
Please remember to be curteous by helping to keep the area clean by removing used targets, shell casings, and trash. Restrooms and picnic tables are not provided. Alcohol is prohibited.
The shooting range is typically open during daylight hours, except for Wednesday mornings until about noon for clean up.
