Floating

Not just a summertime activity anymore, many streams and rivers in the Ozarks offer unmatched beauty during the spring and fall seasons. Spring offers an abundance of colorful wildflowers and new, young wildlife to watch. Fall has so many bright, beautiful colors along the banks, and many afternoons still allow a little swimming time left in the year. But for some, there is nothing quite like a kayak or canoe trip in the middle of winter. So much more is visible without the leaves of the trees, and virtually miles and days of streams can be floated without seeing another person; a true escape from it all.

Currently, I have not been able to gather enough information yet on the many floatable rivers and creeks found in the Ozarks and Ouachitas. As more information on the rivers becomes available, I will list them here.
