Queen Wilhelmina Lodge

The third lodge to grace the top of Rich Mountain, the Queen Wilhelmina Lodge is named after the Dutch Queen of the late 1800s. What started as a tourist venture for the railroads in 1898, the area has become one of the finest lodging destinations in the South. Nicknamed the "Castle in the Clouds," this lodge offers spectacular views of the surrounding Ouachita Mountains, in a peaceful and quiet royalty-like setting.

The lodge offers 38 guest rooms, with two of those being "Queen's Rooms," offering wood buring fireplaces. Another two are called the "Regents Rooms," and offer spa bathrooms. All rooms feature phones, TVs, wireless internet access, private bathrooms, alarm clocks, and unique mountain views.

Also available at the lodge is the Queen's Restaurant, the Queen's Treasury gift shop, and a meeting room available that accommodates up to 55 persons.
