Cabins
Six brand new camper cabins are now available at Johnson's Shut-Ins. The log cabins have accomodations for up to four adults, but can sleep a maximum of six persons. Each cabins has a queen-sized bed and a double-sized futon. Electricity, heat and air come with each cabin, but running water or restrooms are not available. Other amenities include a mini-fridge, microwave, picnic table, grill, and campfire ring. Each cabin has parking for up to two vehicles. You should bring your own linens/sleeping bag, pillow(s), cooking utensils, and water and containers. No smoking or pets allowed inside the cabins.
Campground
The park's new campground, located in the Goggins Mountain area of the park, opened for use in April of 2010. The new campground includes modern, semi-modern, and primitive sites, equestrian and walk-in sites. Walk-in sites are built upon a wooden platform, surrounded by the woods. A campground store is also located in the area, and offers many supplies, plus free WiFi.
