About Clayton Lake

If you are looking for a restful hideaway and a quiet getaway, look no further than Clayton Lake State Park. This 500 acre park, situated on 66 acre Clayton Lake in the beautiful Kiamichi Mtns, offers RV and tent camping, and access to the small but peaceful lake, perfect for fishing. Picnic areas offering tables and grills, plus covered pavilions, make this a perfect stop for a relaxing afternoon picnic.

Comfort stations with restrooms and showers are available for the RV and tent camper, as well as guests of the primitive cabins. The cabins offer beds but no linens, heat & air conditioning, fireplaces and small kitchen areas. The cabins also have electricity, but no restrooms or running water.

The park also features a 2-mile hiking trail, plus access to miles of other trails surrounding the park in the nearby wilderness, perfect for ATVs, dirtbikes and other offroad vehicles.

While you are in the area, be sure to visit beautiful Sardis Lake, located only 10 miles to the north. Check out the beautiful video of the lake in the video gallery.

For pricing and availability of the park cabins, campground or other facilities, please call or email the park directly. The contact information is listed above.
