About Adair
Located within the city limits of Stilwell in northeast Oklahoma, Adair Park is small, with only 25 acres. The park has a 15 acre pond, which is great for doing a little fishing or just watching the ducks and geese play. There are seven semi-modern campsites with electric and water hookups, and 20 primitive sites. Numerous picnic sites and pavilions are scattered around the pond, making for a very scenic and relaxing setting to enjoy a picnic lunch with family or friends. A baseball field is also located at the park, providing for after lunch activities. Although the park is not that big, Adair Park makes a good place to stop and spend the night, or just relax for a few hours, while you are passing through this part of the Ozarks.
Attractions located near Adair include the Illinois River, Lake Tenkiller, and the Adair County fairgrounds. Stilwell claims itself as the "Strawberry Capital of the World," and hosts an annual Strawberry Festival every May.
