The Ozarks and Ouachitas offer over 4 million acres of National Forest land, spread across three different systems, in Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. They account for numerous recreation sites and hundreds of miles of trails for hikers, backpackers, mountain bikers, horseback riders, and ATV & dirtbike riders. Hunting, fishing, camping, floating, wildlife viewing, rock hounding, caving, scenic drives and wildflower viewing are just some of the many other opportunities that the National Forests have to offer as well.
